First lesson for Novice, Beginners.

This is a first guitar lesson that I recommend for a complete beginner.

The first thing a beginner will need is a good guitar and patience. You can get a good guitar by visiting you nearest guitar shop.

I would recommend starting with an acoustic guitar rather starting with an electric guitar.

If you buy an electric guitar, please note you’ll also need a guitar amplifier which will cost a lot.

The first thing which you’ll have to do is, you’ll have to tune a guitar. You can tune your guitar by using a pitch pipe.

The first six strings of the guitar are as follows:

This is the lower string.

It's important to memorize this pattern of E B G D A E. Because when you get these notes on all the six strings, your guitar will be tuned.

If you get the above notes, this is called standard tuning.

Using a Chromatic scale as a beginner guitar lesson

I would recommend you to play the guitar chromatic scale

On a guitar neck you’ll see that there are vertical lines. These are called frets. There are usually 21 frets on a guitar but some electric guitars come with 24 frets.

1 means to keep your first finger on first fret of the sixth string (the fat string). 2 means keep your second finger on the second fret of the sixth string. 3 means keep your third finger on the third fret of the sixth string. 4 means keep your fourth finger on the fourth fret of the sixth string (the fat string).

When you follow the above procedure, please make sure that you’re pressing the strings hard enough and at the same time you are doing alternate picking with a plectrum. I hope you like this free guitar lesson.
