When I started playing the guitar, I always wanted to know how my favorite guitarist became so awesome and how did they practice. Back in the days when I started playing the guitar there were hardly any resources and I also couldn't find a teacher.I took some lessons and but I am also 50% self taught :-) I always curious how many hours do pros practice their guitar. I felt if I could practice like them, i could become almost like them. LoL, however that has still not happened till now.
My favorite guitarist is Joe satriani, so I will start with him. This video says that there was a time when he used to practice for more than 12 hours a day.
