Good sounding chord progressions.

Have you always thought what is a good chord progression. As this site is about free beginners guitar lessons, today's lesson will be about a simple chord progression which will sound good.

This chord progression is about using 1, 4, and 5 chords of any diatonic scale. 1, 4, and 5 chords means you have to play the first, fourth and fifth chords of the diatonic scale. You can check my how to make chords lesson.

If you are in key of C, then you have to play C Major chord, F Major chord and G7 dominant chord. You can use this pattern in any key.

There are many songs that are made with this simple but effective chord progression. Try this chord progression. You'll like it.
